What can I study in the USA?

Colleges in the U. S offer degrees in a variety of conventional and unconventional subjects.

  • Apart from normal engineering and science disciplines like mechanical, electrical engineering, physics,

chemistry etc., emerging disciplines like biomedical engineering, biophysics etc. are also commonly offered by major universities.

  • Some popular even universities also let students design their own curriculum if they wish to.

Some points to note:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy is offered by some schools. Students usually start as pre-pharmacy majors and complete two years of undergraduate studies and then complete 4 years of pharmacy courses.

  • Veterinary medicine also involves a plan of study similar to Pharmacy.

How about professional degrees like medicine and law?

MEDICINE :

  • Not taught at the undergraduate level .
